My favorite part is that they called you a turkey...And as I said, I gave him that link and he says quote: "...
Again, we create HITS individually, not via API so that wouldn't work either.
In fact I want you to prove me wrong so I can reverse this or any other disapproval that is legitimately contested by a turkey. I already went back and forth with Amazon support on this topic so unless they changed something in the past few months it is not possible to reverse unless someone tells amazon and they do it. So you can forward this email and at the same time complain why I can't do this myself so they change the system."
I think he was calling all of us a turkey...and again, I have to leave it at that because....I just have to leave it at that for now.My favorite part is that they called you a turkey...
No, I know, and his ignorance/cluelessness is just astounding. What a jerk... :/I think he was calling all of us a turkey...and again, I have to leave it at that because....I just have to leave it at that for now.

Haha, that didn't even occur to me, it's possible. I guess I just assumed he said it on purpose based on the cluelessness of the rest of the email.I'm willing to bet that was an autocorrect. My phone likes to correct turker to turkey.
There was a requester in the past who used it definitely on purpose on Twitter to laugh at and make fun of MTurk workers.Haha, that didn't even occur to me, it's possible. I guess I just assumed he said it on purpose based on the cluelessness of the rest of the email.
You greeted us every morning for a long time with that, and I miss it.I'm willing to bet that was an autocorrect. My phone likes to correct turker to turkey.

Throat punch incoming...There was a requester in the past who used it definitely on purpose on Twitter to laugh at and make fun of MTurk workers.
I guess. It's fairly easy to tell from the context that an admin on this forum using it to greet the community is not the same as some dick-bird requester mocking us on Twitter, though.I know I miss it too but I feel weird doing it now since some people feel like it's offensive.

I fail to understand the point of some people to insult mTurk workers, or any other worker for that matter, who are simply trying to make some money. What is the point in that? (Not that you would know why they do it.)There was a requester in the past who used it definitely on purpose on Twitter to laugh at and make fun of MTurk workers.

I liked the way it sounded in my head and then I looked it up and it meant what I hoped it meant.
