MTC Trivia Night

I know how much myself and some of my fellow Castaways enjoyed the trivia style challenges we had, so we're going to make this a thing and stuff for a while and see how it goes.


I'll be holding them on Thursday evenings at 7 pm pst.

We'll be meeting in an IRC channel, and I'll link the room the on that Thursday here in this thread each time.

This will not be a long term commitment thing. It'll be just a week to week basis, so you can participate whenever you choose. I'll open up sign ups for each week on Monday. That Thursday I will split you into teams, the size of the teams varying upon how many people sign up. I will try to mix up the teams as differently as I can each time as well. It's fun to get to know your fellow MTCers that you might not have chatted with yet.

This would be a great time for some fresh blood new members to join in with the old veteran members as well. I know I've met tons of great people on here from forum games.

I will be asking 20 trivia questions, and the winning team will be receiving small cash prizes each week.

The first sign ups will start Jan 2 and the first Trivia Night will be Jan 5.

Bring wine, beer and/or marshmallows and maybe win a buck or two.

Today is the day!

Sign ups for this Thursday, Jan 5 are now open! We will play at 7 pm pst in an irc channel (or possibly discord, it'll depend on the number of people we have sign up this week).

Remember, you will be busted into teams, and this is not a long term commitment. Today's sign up will only commit you to play this Thursday. We will re-up every week.

Just let me know here in this thread if you're in for the shenans.
