Survivor: May Mini-Game Edition

Get to know one another. Love each other.

I will be posting the challenge soon. This challenge will be played in two short phases. It's a very quick and easy play, so it's all about choosing wisely. It's suggested to start a group pm with your team.

Again, the person who wins this challenge will win:

A team captain position of one out of the three tribes.
Immunity the first week Season 2 starting in August.
A choice in helping choose your teams from the participants that sign up for season 2.

I'll explain it more in the challenge post, but no. In the first phase, there will be one winner from each team. Phase two, the two team winners will compete against one another.

Edit: if you mean each mini game like June/July, then yes. It'll depend on who signs up each month.

I meant more like - each mini game, each month, will we start with the same members? Or maybe the others aren't even teams, maybe I'm just being impatient!

Alright teams, the May Mini-Game challenge is:

Pick a Card, Any Card

The game is set up into two simple phases.

Phase One:

Each team will be given a team board, consisting of 10 individual cards.
Each team member must select ONE card.
No team member can choose the same card. You all must decide among yourself who receives which card.
Select one team member to post in this thread which team member chose which card.
The selections will be due by TUESDAY MAY 17 at 11:59 pm/pst (daily thread change). You're welcome to post them earlier. Let's just try to have them finished by then. This will give several days to make sure all your team members have logged on and had a chance to choose.

After the teams post their choices, it was be revealed which card is the "winning" card. The person who chose the winning card from each team will move on to phase two. There will be one winner from Team One and one winner from Team Two during this phase.

Special circumstances: If there happens to be a player who does not participate or chose a card, go ahead and assign them a card and list it here. IF they are assigned the winning card, the default win will go to the team member WHO POSTED THE LIST.

Phase Two:

The winner from Team One and the winner from Team Two will compete in one more short individual challenge that will be announced after the first phase is complete.

Just to be transparent, we did first come first choice and I don't think

@MisterEgo had even logged on yet. I know my teammates and I agree that his card choice counts given the others and I 'picked' in less than 4 hours.

Now it's time for the REAL challenge :tqueen:

TRIVIA NIGHT

Some of you may remember how movie trivia night week went last time, and it will be something similar.

@Jaded and

@heeheehahaha will need to decide among the two of you which night next week you'd like to play. It's only for one night. It's a night you'll be able to show up around 5pm/pst.

How it's played:

Show up at the appointed time on whatever day you two decide works best. (Preferably Mon-Thurs. Many people aren't around on weekends.)
You will be handed a list of 300 trivia questions. They range in degrees of difficulty.
You have 30 MINUTES to answer these questions AND send them to me in a PM. Do NOT post them to the thread.
I will tally up how many each player answered correctly in that time. The person with the most correct answers wins the first team captain spot.

Don't worry, you're not doing it alone.

You will select a team to work with. This team should be NO LESS than 2 members, not including the person competing for team captain.
The team cannot exceed 5 members, not including the person competing for team captain.
These people should ONLY be from the team you were assigned for this challenge. No dipping into the other team, no recruiting MTC members that did not sign up for Survivor.

Remember, there are two more mini games left and a whole season coming, so helping someone now might help you in the long run :whistle2:

I will need the list of your team and the night you would like to play next week posted by SUNDAY MAY 15 by 11:59 pm/pst (daily thread change). You can post it here in this thread.
