For me personally, I've always been depressed because of a certain problem (got rejected by a girl, got fired from a job, can't find a good job, parents think i'm a failure) . And I believe the best way to get over it, is to solve that problem (find someone new, get a better job, improve my life).Meds really help when you're really stuck. They don't have to be forever. I took anti depressants for about five of my teenage years. Then for about 3 years I took anxiety meds when I couldn't cope. Now I only keep emergency Xanax and have been med free for three years.
Imo yeadid u feel like it helped u?

I've been gone all weekend and I'm curious : did we ever find out what Amazon meant by their new TOS policy?
Yeah it's definitely clinical and I've been fighting with it since I was about 22. (I'm 35 now.) Through the ups and downs of life I could barely afford medical care much less a roof over my head. At one point I slept in someone's closet between double waitressing shifts... Long story... But I didn't have time or knowledge to really trust and believe in therapists until a few years ago. With all the bouncing around the country we've had to do the past few years, I haven't had a therapist for long and have been relying heavily on meds (prescribed and natural) and various things I've picked up on over the years that help like breathing techniques and forcing myself to have a more positive attitude. I honestly don't think I've been able to try cognitive behavior therapy yet... and I really don't know too much about it.OK, so with a "yes," "yes," and a three times, THAT is an authentic clinical depression. We suffer from just about the exact same thing. ... With your doctor, has cognitive behavior therapy done you any good?
