I leave not nice reviews when products come damaged or messed up all the time. Then I also usually call customer service.
Not only have I had my account credited but I have gotten several gift cards towards my next order in many cases. I simply explain why the product is defective.

I've tried every way I could thing of to let people know that things aren't being delivered and I do it nicely but they wouldn't allow any of them. Our Postal service is so bad here that some of us have complained to our representative several times. That helped a lot. Now I just fill out the postal form and that usually gets stuff here.
