Honestly, I like going on BF. It's fun. I go with a group and we buy pretty much everything we need for Christmas. It's nice going with the group because we can compare what we're getting for each other's kids. I like shopping and I love saving money. It's one of two days a year that I love getting up early.

Yeah, but there are some deals you can't get because stores hold back stock on purpose for that day or it is a release that is specific to that day. Like when I worked at Radio Shack, we would have a laptop that looked exactly like the others, but it had some small differences so it wasn't the same model.

You have to be careful doing this, but almost all stores have a 7 to 30 day return policy and will price match themselves.

I should also add that if they don't do this, I usually return the items and wait a few weeks after black friday because they go on sale again before Christmas.

I did this yesterday. Downloaded their app and signed up to their website. Took about 30 minutes with sign up and website review.

They paid by this morning. Also received an email from the company thanking me for signing up and let me know there are three other jobs I can do on the site. He told me that if I do them, I will receive $10 each through paypal.

Do this if you can catch it. I was a little nervous, but it turns out it is legit.

Now that we live here in MA, we don't go when the stores open (because in MA they can't open on Thanksgiving Day due to some law and red tape), so we go a few hours after they open. The crazy deal lovers go to NH, where they open at 6pm or whatever.

yep, my sister in laws, mother in law and I go almost every black friday. The husbands stay home and watch the kids. We always go out to dinner(IHOP) about 10pm on Thanksgiving night and shop til 7 or 8am. We're exhausted, but have so much fun.

i went to the walmart in putnam, CT at 2 am back in 2008 or something. it really wasn't as crazy as i heard! probably cuz its not a city. only one group of people sitting around in the tv aisle, but that was all.

i dont have much shopping to do anymore since my kids are older. they only want pricey stuff!
