Just don't hyphenate it. I ABSOLUTELY HATE that...

i agree about the hyphen. what are you going to do when your kid who has a hyphenated name meets another kid with a hyphenated name and then wants to get hitched! it's HYPHEN MADNESS is what it is.

merge all 4 last names into one super last name!
that's what 2 friends of mine did.
they mashed their last names up and both switched to the new name.

my boss didn't take her husband's last name but when they had a son, they just used her husband's name because they didn't want to hyphen. backstory was she had told him that if she got published before they got married, she wouldn't change her name.

I thought about hyphenating my last name but I don't think I would ever hyphenate my childs last name. I have since come to my senses and I've decided that when the time comes I'm going to take my fiances last name.

I didn't take my husband's last name, but I gave my son his last name. Definitely regret that now
