Just don't buy produce because it looks great in store then by the time you get home it is rotten

They built their whole business around selling expired and near-expired foods. They hired me because I had previous produce dept manager experience at another store for several years. They said in the interview that their produce sales were low and they wanted me to bring them up. The first thing I did when I started work was throw everything in the department away. They got so mad, lol. I honestly couldn't understand how they expected me to sell produce that was already turning. It was a constant battle between myself and the store management for the whole time I worked there because they wanted me to keep pushing rotten produce and I kept wanting to throw it away. I finally just walked out on them one day and never set foot in another one of those stores again.

Yeah but not all the time....just a few occasions and I just laugh. The manager has got good stuff coming in now but at first I think they bought Safeways throwaways lol.

OK, so that made me cry. But that's OK. there's NO rougher job in the world than that of a combat Soldier or Marine. (And the non-combat roles are not pieces of cake either.) Kudos to you @cassius for posting this. I'll do the same on FB. Thanks!!
