General financial assistance, transportation assistance, not sure. Was just diagnosed with a skin cancer and the social worker told me i can find some grants online...like thanks lady...

Sorry to hear this, hope you are on the "lucky" side of diagnosis. I am not real active tonight, Hang in there. There are things available - depending on where you are unfortunately. reply to me or send a private or direct message if you like, but I think you would be okay posting here.

The first thing I am thinking of is - act local. I do not know your age nor financial situation, not even your location. Since you said a skin cancer chances are a doctor told you this in an office. A typical doctors office does not have a social worker, don't know your whole story - don't need to.

If you are near a city of any size, I would look up a "hospital" group that does cancer treatments. For me in the past it was www.agnesian.com . They are they to help - cancer or not.

For general assistance you need to google that and take notes. I'll be back if you reply.
