If there are any Beach Boys fans out there who might wonder where they got their "style" from, this is the group from whence it came. In this vid, the Four Freshmen were challenged to sing "Surfer Girl." (Side note: Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys regularly attends FF concerts.) The Four Freshmen are "an American male vocal band quartet that blends open-harmonic jazz arrangements with the big band vocal group sounds," so, for some, they are a an "acquired taste," but these guys are my favorite such group, except for the Beatles perhaps. Enjoy.
