Third, I did that and racked up 37 PREs in like a half a second. Is that even normal?

Yes, going HAM is like checking every ms... sometimes it goes too quick and hits PREs. Life.

If you hold down Go Ham, it'll turn blue. This means its a delay catch. Once the HIT is found, it'll then go HAM and collect until your queue is full or they run out.... If you just hit Go Ham (just single click), it'll stop all other PCs and just try to catch that single HIT every tick.

And... "Collect" just refreshes the link until its caught (or never caught) every few ms.

So then what is the best way to catch for a specific R? To delay ham or just collect? If it's in delay catch and the HIT is found, does it go ham and stop collecting all other pandas?

Personally, I just "collect" any HIT I think I'll enjoy. I only go HAM if someone is telling me, "I'm throwing this back" and I want to catch it immediately. OR, a really good batch and I want ALL OF THEM!!

I usually just put it on collect, unless I'm trying to catch an amazing survey or something.

Clicking go HAM means the speed at which the watcher looks for a hit increases from default (I think 1000ms) to around 700.

Putting a watcher into delayed ham mode means it will run at default (1000) until it catches 1 HIT then will go into HAM mode for the next 8 seconds or so until it stops finding hits.

That seems like a lot. Do you have anything else running? I don't use HC, but I don't think it has the requester search function. I normally don't have issues running a requester search in PC.
