Your refresh rate will depend a lot on what else you have refreshing mturk. Be sure and block requesters that you know you will never work for, this will slowly make your results easier to manage.

that is a good thought about blocking I never though of that! but how will i ever know they dont put up a new task?

You can block by HIT title as well. I block transcription HITs and other weird shit like that.

E @Pablo Escobar Liz @Liz Nuramazing @Nuramazing is there a place that theres like a list of at least basic hits or a general list of some good hits? Also E @Pablo Escobar what do you mean by find a good setting?
I do almost exclusively batches. I find it easier to use separate scripts to track favorite requesters and the general flow of HITs. I do use HIT Finder, but I also use a script called HIT Monitor to keep track of favorites. I haven't used it, but you can also set up HIT Monitor to alert you by text message, so you don't have to sit in front of your computer all day.

Every requester that I have liked in several years of Turking is on HIT Monitor. One of these days I should probably clean out the requesters that haven't posted in a couple of years, but it doesn't seem to slow it down.

Also, I've noticed the majority of good HITS post during regular working hours, so if you're on the best coast get up early (if you can) to catch morning work from east coast requesters.

There is a pretty steep learning curve with mTurk so it's going to be a bit frustrating for just about anyone starting out. I would really watch out for what people are talking about on the forum. You can learn a lot that way. If someone mentions a new qualification, try to do the qualification HITs for it if you can. You never know what that'll lead to.

Honestly, you probably just need some good old-fashioned experience which will take a little bit of time. Things will get easier as you go along.
And if nothing else, you'll pick up some really solid shitposting skills.

Listen, guys, I'm sorry to bother. I'm really discouraged. I'm trying to make money to help my family. I'm using Mturk suite. I'm just discouraged I see so many people making at least $20 or more a day. I cant barely break $10 most days. What could I be doing wrong? I have a little over 1500 hits. I appreciate the feedback. I'm not greedy I'd be happy with $20 a day. I do surveys and try to watch for others but I always end up missing the better paying hits even using the hit catcher.
Learning javascript may help a little
