Sometimes I think I spend more on quality tarps to cover my wood than I do the damn wood.

I buy wood from a local almond farmer who has to "down" trees every year due to age or disease. Lets them cure for a year or two then sells it. It's damn good wood. So I cover it with quality tarps. Also, this guy delivers to me free, so yep. I'm lucky!

Out here wood goes fast so if you don't stock out you get stuck like me.

Hey. I just want to say to everyone, thanks for welcoming me back. I have a bit of anxiety/depression and, for some reason, I was actually scared/nervous to come back. That's one reason why I was gone for 2 months.

That sucks. I need to brave the spiders in one of my enclosed wood storage areas. I had a cherry tree fall over a while ago. They cut up the wood for me and put it in the enclosed area to cure.

I've been too afraid of spiders to go in there and see if it's good to burn.

I just keep buying new wood, lol.
