I'm not doing well today. I have only tried 2 surveys. 1 i missed an attention check on the first page and they screened me out (better than a rejection I guess). The other was for 25 cents and I gave up after 15 minutes of bubbles.
If I'd been drinking I could claim a hangover. At least my Saturday night would have been more interesting than it was. But its Sunday, I'm not obliged to do anything. We have leftovers for dinner and I can always nap on the couch. I may go nap ...

You worked for a week and they didn't pay you? That sucks. I'd get in contact with whoever's in charge at Meijer (HR person? supervisor?) rather than a former coworker.
