Hey! I don't know if this has been discussed already, but there is a turker on reddit that got their amazon account phished by a HIT. Apparently they just threw up a convincing looking amazon login during the HIT.

Yikes! That is pretty shady.

Although I think most people here know this it is a good reminder to never log in except through the actual Amazon site with https and NEVER through a HIT. If a HIT asks for any personal details report it immediately and don't submit it. If it seems scammy it probably is.

And if you're doing a HIT and get prompted to log back in and think it's Amazon but want to make sure, open a new tab for MTurk. If you're already logged in in that tab, something sketchy's going on. If you're truly logged out, every MTurk tab you open will show the logged out message.
