Did 785 hits today! That's the most I've ever done. About 775 were 5's.
It was kind of nice not to do surveys all damn day long, for a change.

I'm a total hermit and proud. Never fit in anywhere else, always felt anxious. Now I'm confident and happy and a much better parent to my kids, plus making as much money as I was working out of the house. Without the whole clothes and hassle and schedule thing.

Lemme just tell ya, when I was in my own damn car, picking up other people, and listening to my Space Jam soundtrack, my very mature reaction to being told it was embarassing was to put on Buggin'- a Bugs Bunny rap song that Jay-Z ghost wrote. Well you're obviously a little cooler! None of my cats are that chill in the car, but Declan is alright if he knows were using the car to get to a cool place to explore. And none of my cats have been to such a neat place as a film location for Breaking Bad!

It is your life. Do what is best for you. Ignore the haters. Most people I know are jealous I can work from home and make a living. Sure I get lonely sometimes and miss benefits. But I do what works for me. You are better than you think you are my friend. Life is too short to hate. :twohearts:

I love your cats! My other 2 aren't as cooperative as Bearnie. Bearnie rode shotgun with me for 35 hours across the US, he only freaked out in the last 2 hour stretch, and we were all worn out by then. He got over his issues with the car real quick once he realized he didn't have to ride in the kennel with the other 2. As for Breaking Bad, I was 100% not supposed to have my cat there, but we only took him in for a photo and the staff was laughing so hard, they didn't say anything since we took him out immediately after. It was peak crazy cat lady for me. I was jazzed.

and its not like im opposed to a in person job. i've looked more the last couple weeks and brushed up my resume.

TBH I've met my longest standing friends online. Coworkers are nice, sometimes, but haven't seen many stick around once one or the other switches jobs. They can be real assholes, too.

Birdie, LittleDrummerBoy: are you guys cat whisperers? This has been my sole experience of cats on leashes:

How do you train a cat to walk on a leash? How do you know if a cat has the right personality to be trained? I am hugely curious.(and will happily head to another thread or PM or whatever if this is too much cat-walking in the main thread, just someone say so pls)

Declan was adopted by us when he was about a year old. He came from a home where his humans worked overnight shifts, and so we were kept up everynight by him meowing at the door waiting for his old human to return from work. I went to the store and bought two harnesses (one that is just straps, and he hated it. The second is the one he is wearing in my avatar and the photos I just posted. It's got a lot more fabric, and he likes it alright. I just opened the door, and tried to keep up...the rest is history.

I am one of those people who can sit on the sidewalk and get cats to come up to me, so that may be why. Wish I could offer more advice, but the only training I've done is to keep him a little more contained, so he isn't always going for the "cat-only" tiny spots that I can't reach him in. Having treats on hand, that they crave, is handy...in case they get free.

Maybe? Most I can remember getting from a search was like 11, might be random. Congrats though.
