Ah. So metrics aren't really metrics on forums. I've never been "behind the scenes" on a forum so I have no clue

(I do oversee a non profit FB page which has a bunch of "metrics" they want you to mess with, but I can't adjust any of them...just see them and either monetize them or boost them or look at obscure graphs that are about nothing I remotely care about for that

They are as long as we don't mess with them, which we don't (aside from what I just did, but I made sure he got everything back.) I don't think any of us are insecure or shallow enough to artificially inflate our forum stats as a way to show that we're somehow better than others.
