It was actually a really weird situation with him. His Mturk account had been suspended, but his Payments account was not. Like he could still access his Payments account and transfer money out of it and stuff while he couldn't even log on to Mturk (Generally, when you get suspended from Mturk, you get suspended from Payments, too.) But he did get the Mturk people to give him his account back like a month later.
Then, the very next day, Amazon suspended his Payments account. When he contacted Amazon Payments they claimed that his Mturk account had never been un-suspended. So he had to spend like another 5 to 6 months trying to convince AP to un-suspend him, not Mturk, and AP customer support is apparently just as bad as Mturk's. After talking to a million people that all basically told him to fuck off, he finally got through to someone that was like, "Oh, you're not really suspended. You just need to verify your personal info and you're good to go."
