Ummm... I did that $2 "We want your opinions about recent events in teh news" and at the very end it says

"Thank you for showing interest in this study. Unfortunately, you either (a) did not meet the requirements for participating in the survey, or (b) failed one of the quality checks to ensure that participants are accurately completing the study. If you have received this message in error, please attempt to retake the survey or contact me at email. Once again, thank you for showing interest in this study."

This was after 16 minutes of dedicated work. I'm gonna contact them but wtf.
