I know I'm late on the mayo talk. As a matter of fact I grew up in a Miracle Whip family and when I found my husband he introduced me to mayo. It's one of the reasons I still like him, 29 years later.

I later found out that what my dad was trying to make was a bastardization of Tuna Pea Wiggle (https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/breakfast/other-breakfast/creamed-tuna-pea-wiggle.html) - wonder if your mom had the same inspiration. Either way, the combination of tuna and peas has never made its way into my kitchen.

I just asked my mom what was in her tuna casserole.

Ingredients: tuna, peas, macaroni, cream of mushroom soup with crushed potato chips on top (chips like Wavy Lays).

I seriously feel like I'm going to gag/barf right now just remembering it.

She also just apologized for making it. She just NOW found out I never liked it. She thought I did!

Add melted Velveeta cheese instead of soup and take out the chips and that stuff is really yummy

Yeah. I'm not a fan, even cold. Now I realize why after reading all about this warm tuna stuff. Ugh.

I know lots of people like it but shudder. I think my mom broke my tuna like taste buds.

back in the day I worked as a bouncer in local dives and such, and it was a pretty good gig at the time, but I was getting restless and needed a new venue to hone my craft, so one day this guy calls me up and ask if I would be willing to come help him at his club in Texas, I said sure. So I got my duffle bag and got in my old car and left for Texas.

As soon as I got there at the Bar and walked in a big brawl broke out, so I just walked past everyone and went upstairs to the owner's office and said I'm here. He was very glad to see me and asked if I could do something about the brawl that had just broken out, I said sure.

So I went back downstairs and took my shirt and pants off, and proceeded to roundhouse kick everyone in the bar. That being said, that was the last brawl to ever happen at that bar.
