Prolic refuses to load for me nowadays.

Do you use the Prolific Assistant extension? They seem to have their own version of PREs over there and I was having trouble getting anything on that site to load with the extension set at even 1 minute refreshes. Since I disabled it, I've had no issues loading pages on the site.

I use it at 30 secs and pages are loading fine for me now. Weren't the last few weeks though. Their servers need a serious upgrade but they don't think it is a problem.

I'm not even sure what happened. Wasnt using any wifi, just my phone data. I was out all day and went to transfer my money when I encountered the problem , so I then tried to sign in to the reg amz and mturk site, same problems. After like 5 times of resetting my pw (even though it said wrong email even though I was 100% sure), I got to a page that said it would send me a 4 digit temp pw. Got in with that.

By time I got home last night and used my newly changed pw, it was working fine , so idk.

I saw news articles about it last night. It was apparently a ton of Amazon customers, not only MTurk workers. Amazon accidentally disabled some accounts on accident, but then later fixed it.

Ah, I didn't know it got better. I turned mine off a week or two ago and haven't turned it back on yet. I don't think it's necessarily a server issue, though. If you refresh too much, you'll start getting 503 error pages that say "If you're using a page monitor, please limit the requests to 1/min.", so I think it's intentional. Kinda like their version of a page request error.
