No not really, well other than the big 750 word essays for the adult site that they told me I was great at. Just thinking I enjoyed doing those and I have knowledge/interest in a lot of things so it might be a way to supplement my income with the loss of that money.

Afternoon!
I had an okay nap until my husband came home early from work. He woke my son up. Who in turn decided to wake me up by putting my glasses in my face. Ugh.

I used to.
Unless you have a degree, a lot of content churning places have gone to outsourcing for waaaaaaaaay less pay, so going the route of just getting you out there with a portfolio and schmoozing is your best bet.

I started out by picking up awful contracts on oDesk (now UpWork) for a year because no one would hire a recent grad with a BA in English in 2009. Graduated to mediocre contracts on oDesk for a few more years. Found a few good clients off of oDesk through word of mouth from the clients I met there.

Haven't touched the site in a few years, not sure how it is today. People definitely complain about it, but I can't be too negative because it really was responsible for a lot of work for me. Might be worth checking out! :thumbup:

I've actually used that site to look for some jobs in the past..I however do not have a degree, could be a problem eh?
