Speaking of nachos I just saw a horrendous recipe from That swimmer Ryan lochte today. Salt and vinegar chips, shredded cheese, Elpaso salsa. Then microwave. Nasteh.

Even here in Vallejo it is getting stupid high for rent....luckily not for me though, I do enough work for the owner that he won't dare raise ours till we move but the city doesn't have rent control (yet) and places have doubled and even tripled in a years time here. People pushed out of SF come here and still find $2k reasonable compared to the city. So landlords are going nuts trying to push people out by jacking the rent.

We just had someone rent a house through us who is relocating from Vallejo. He does long haul driving for UPS, so he says commuting back to Richmond is no big thang for him since he is on the road 3-4 days at a time anyway. He recently had a familial upgrade and had a 2 br in Vallejo for $1395, which they have way outgrown (and he said it was only that cheap because he moved in years ago). So now he's paying $1825 for a ginormous 2-story house and the kids have separate bedrooms and they have a good yard for their doggie.

His wife is from the Philippines and says shes never even seen a house this big, or had a dishwasher or garbage disposal and she is so very excited. He coudln't believe how cheap a house that size was in this area as compared to Vallejo.

So they put up a new hit cos the other one was screwy and dropped the pay 10 cents. Also I cant do this one cos I had to return the $1 one. What logic.

Yeah if I could convince my roomy to leave this area or even California all together I'd live pretty well off Turk instead of a little over breaking even. If it wasn't for the 4 cats I'd be gone already but it is sort of like a marriage with kids and I can't separate any of them or take them away from him either. I'm kind of stuck like chuck but it is ok I don't need much money more than what I make to be happy anyways. But maybe one day I can convince that a move would be good for all.

Ok so here's something that's messed up. My husband bought a computer processor on Amazon for $400. Somehow it got sent to North Carolina and some random person signed for it when it was delivered to their house. How the heck do we contact Amazon so he can at least get his money back??
