lol no I mean my specific question I wanted to know how long it took a dog to get really violent from the initial symptom. Everything just said it 'varied widely' and I was wondering if anyone had any firsthand knowledge.

same, I was usually naked until I was like...7? 8? lol. I hated clothes.

It's a matter of days, like 2. The violent stage is the last stage and means they'll probably be dead within 24 hours. They act really confused and almost happy in a doofy way first.

Well, "varied widely" is an answer. Since you're looking for firsthand knowledge, search for a rabies site, or a dog forum. subscribe, then post your question on their forum(s). Look for a forum that has recent posts, and the more the better.

Soooo, I guess it varies? I'm just going by my experience of growing up in the country and having to deal with rabid animals a handful of times. The state vet at MSU told me that it happens really quick after exposure.
