I know I'm a little late to point this out, but that isn't what mturk is named after. Mturk is named after a chess playing "robot" from the 18th century. In actuality it was a man inside the box controlling the movements of the chess pieces. Quite a fitting name since both were humans imitating artificial intelligence. The thing was named a mechanical Turk because it's outfit was in the design of a Turk the outfit meant to make it look like an Oriental sorcerer and mechanical because it was supposedly a mechanical man.

When you think about it, it's kind of hilarious.

The Mechanical Turk was supposed to be a robot and everyone was bummed to learn it was just a dude in a bathrobe and a cardboard box hat.

Amazon Mechanical Turk is supposed to be a workforce of people, but mostly it's soulless robots in people clothes.

I was fascinated to discover that Da Vinci did, indeed, design a mechanical robot/suit of armor that works. I'd never heard of it.

How will I know if I get a page request error using TM?

TM doesn't display them, but if you watch the timers, if they get like a 5s delay from when they should fire, thats because of a PRE.

I have never managed to get that many to run without insane page refresh errors. I keep most things on HM and hit TM if they pop up.
