I dont mind tourists, they have a starry look in their eyes and their soul is still intact which preserves their manners and politeness. My soul has been slowly washed away piece by piece by each negative encounter with the locals.

Yeah, I wouldn't have been too happy in that scenario either! And 70's to 80's isn't horrible, so long as things are running somewhat smoothly. Never hurts to open it up and clean it out well though, if you haven't already.

In regard to crapple in general, I have had subpar experiences with Apple on the whole, but I'm not alone in loving my macbook. Something about the specific year/model macbook I have, is almost iconic. In recent years, the 2012 MBP has continued to outsell the newer macbook and macbook pro models, as it's just a reliable tank for the most part. Mine has been used for live gigs for years, and once it saw a fall from the top of a speaker (about 11 feet above the floor. It landed open, on it's side, against the speaker tripod stand. It dented the side of the lower half of the body, yet the recording in progress never stopped. The thing has been an unstoppable tank for me!

I think that's the year/model he has and uses for his dj sets/live show and has never had a problem...that tiny ass screen is rough on my old eyes....I prefer my 17" Toshiba lol

I hate tourists because they all wear big friggin' backpacks and clog up train cars and stand in the middle of the sidewalk staring at maps. As for the locals if you're using Penn Station frequently, I can understand the hate. That place is a literal pit of despair.

OK, so in SF those would be students with ginormous backpacks. (I might or might not have been one of those for many, many years, lol). But I would move mine to the front if the train was massively crowded. Kept filthy people from smashing against my boobs, too.
