they didn’t bring up a payment plan when I did my consultation last month

the thing is i have the spare $1200 right now, but if they charge for numbing of the mouth or anything extra - it will be cutting it very close with my other bills this week

last month when i went in the consultation was suppose to be $340 and it ended up being $500+ because the front lady said “he did something extra”

so that’s why i’m worried this $1200 will bloom into something more

Oh yikes! Maybe call and ask if the numbing is included in that price? If not how much extra?
I do remember that numbing was way cheaper than goofy gas for me.

Call them and ask if you can apply for the care credit. I think there's also dental discount plans, but I honestly don't know how they work. Even with insurance, dental work is super expensive.

ETA - we have insurance and I still pay out the ass for stuff. We're paying $1250 up front for dental sedation for my son. We *may* get reimbursed, but may not. It's kind of complicated the way some places bill and code things. Our dentist is in network, but the anesthesiologist isn't, so we pay everything up front for sedation.
