Now that I've sat here and thought about it for a bit, I think the only time I've heard it ma-tour was when someone was doing it on purpose to sound sophisticated.

Why do I keep reading this as manure?.........and I always say ma-tour. Never heard that other thing...

So what's the difference between a crick and a creek?

This is one of those things where I thought something, but never really thought hard about it, so it's not gonna make sense. But I thought creek was a little bigger than a crick. A crick was just a really small one, like less than a hand's width wide. Then creek which was up to forearm's length, and then brook which was about smaller than a river and bigger than a creek.

There is literally no logical reason for this probably.
edit: There's not a whole lot of logic going on here in general.

Naw it only takes 15 but will drive you crazy in the process. The cat came to steal my sandwich and I dropped my ear buds into the chip dip but it's over.

Well, it took me that long because I am slow and careful. I do not see how you could do it that fast but that's just me.....
