All I can think of is this story I read about automation slowly replacing every job and our economy/way of thinking in no way being able to deal with 50+% of the population being unemployed. I think it was this http://marshallbrain.com/manna1.htm

Probably paints too rosy a picture of what's essentially communism, but I think it nails what's going to happen within the US

i think that is a ok thing to ask on the first few Q's but if your first Q is "could I buy it from a guy named Snake Venom from behind the 7-11 down on 33rd st?" then i would have a doubt

what goes around comes around. Let all the folks without jobs have 5 acre farms..trade for food and sell food to the folks with jobs but no farm...just like days of old...gimme that dirt!

Once when I did one of those studies I did ask if that robot was going to wash its hands between cleaning the bathrooms and making the coffee.

Idk...yes and no...I think A LOT of craaaaaaaazypants technological advancements are happening rn without much fanfare outside of specialized tech communities, but change on a societal level can be very slow. That said, as companies start releasing these technologies out in the wild, we'll start to see more changes and ofc the accompanying repercussions.
