has anyone heard of live ops? its is like a work from home call center. They want 60$ to do a background check but I am always skeptical about paying for that kind of thing, and never hearing anything back.

Anyone have suggestions on where to get cheap printer ink that probably isn't garbage and or a scam? I acquired a printer.

Just be careful. I ruined an Epson printer by not using the name brand ink. I even bought ones that said they were compatible but it messed it up and it's never been the same since.

My husband wanted me to make the BBD for one of his buddies. I thought it would be hilarious to make it into a lotion holder. He ended up getting stationed in Japan, so I had it in my knitting bag for like a year before my kids found the "monster" and I sent it to @basketcasey.

The others started because @basketcasey asked me to make her something "weird". Then @Vanyanka wanted one. Then everyone wanted one. I make other things that are less dickish in between, usually.

How many HITs are you guys able to PandA before the timer slows down too much for it to be worth it?

I've had this problem forever. I can do 2 or 3 at a time, and then the timer slows down so much that it nearly guarantees that I won't be catching the HIT. $25 worth of HITs in my PandA queue, but can only scrape for $5 of that at a time

3 is the most I can ever do, otherwise I get PREs all over the place. Except sometimes when I don't. mTurk is fickle.
