I reported as well. I just stated that at the very least it was highly suspicious and perhaps problematic for Amazon.
I didn't look at them but it actually sounds like something that ought to be sent to the FBI or whoever investigates those things in this country. That could go the maze from identity theft to who knows what?

I just assumed they were computerizing some database of pictures.

Maybe I'm naive, but I thought they all belonged to the same gym or something.
Could be innocent. But anytime an unknown requester asks for info to be pulled from over 1k in dl's I'm gonna be a bit wary.

It looks like they were already pulled.
Well, you all either gave the requester a big headache or you just saved a bunch of people from the least, identity thief and sky's limit on how extreme it could have gone. I hope it's not true of this requester and it was all innocent, but some of them think the people who work here are kind of stupid. Fooled em!

He used to be pretty active on MTG. He would sometimes come on and ask for advice with improving his terrible HITs and then listen to absolutely none of it.

Well even if the requester is totally legit, some of the turkers (not here of course) might take advantage of people's driver's licenses. I remember a while back a school photographer posted pictures of elementary kids along with their name, school, grade, phone number etc. It was scary thinking about how a pedophile could use that info.

If Richard Hannah's HITs were already pulled, does that mean that someone from the other side of mturk was actually on top of something?
They will pull something if enough people report it. They'll even suspend accounts over it. Amazon is actually pretty responsive to that kind of stuff.

Good point. I guess it would only be OK if the people on the IDs knew what was happening with their info, and there's no way to verify that on our end.
