thought this was going to be about accidentally burning cookies

I don't cook. My husband does. I've burnt rice in the microwave. I made garlic dill eggs. Those tasted like vomit. I baked that egg in the oven. I fuck up recipes ALL the time. Hell, I've burnt ramen in the microwave. I'm mostly a failure of a human. I'm just so fucking glad my hubs puts up with it!

It's fuck bad. I've burnt water before. That's the point when my husband 'banned' me from cooking. And by banned I mean he has to be within eye shot of the kitchen and I can't leave while 'cooking'. I forgot the water boiling on the stove for like 2 hours. Ruined a decent pot too....

I've never done that (although I've come close). I set my then-boyfriend's stove on fire making hamburger helper, and set a towel on fire making dinner. We had to leave and stay the night with my parents. Don't ever try to burn a towel, it's...horrible.

I found out the hard way that a wet hand towel conducts heat REALLY well. Right into your hand. I then dropped the molten nachos on my feet and burnt the fuck out my feet. We don't have plastic cutting boards now cause I've melted 3 by putting them in the oven while not thinking. I'm just a fucking mess in the kitchen. I'd be a terrible 1950's house wife.

I finally got through on I finally got through on a support line. We are a business customer so that link won't work for us And guess what? The business log in wouldn't load. lol. Comcast is not having a good day.

It appears to be a known outage in this area, so at least I don't have to wait around for a repair dude!

yeah, I once got a potholder wet on accident, then used it to get a casserole out of the oven. bad decision.

This is random but it just freaked me out.

My mom bought these tissues for the office that are cold to the touch. When you yank it out of the box the tissue feels like it's been in the freezer.

Is this a good thing for anyone?

Freaks me out to have a tissue that is brrrrr cold when the rest of the room is so not brrrrrr cold.
