Hi! Newbie Turker here feeling totally overwhelmed. Right now just trying to get to 1000...I'm wondering what to do when you're in the middle of a HIT and realize it's too confusing and you can't finish? Do you just Return? I had always assumed that getting Returns is a bad thing...What do you guys do?

I also read that there's supposed to be a Numbers thread for people who just want to increase their HITs, but I don't see one. Looking forward to figuring all this stuff out.

I remember when house hunting was just soooo fun. Now, I'm just dreading the house showing later. I told Matt he could go without me, but he didn't think that was as fun of an idea as I do. If I close my eyes and hum real loud, what are the chances I just wake up in a new house all moved in?

Return rate doesn't matter. I've only seen a couple of requesters use that in qualifications, etc.

You are okay to return. The thing you don't want is to do a job, submit it, and get a rejection. The rejections work against you. I'm not too sure if this is what you're looking for, but this helped me get started

I was going to say the same thing. I've only seen a couple requesters that really care about return rate. It's better to return than get a rejection.
I haven't heard about the numbers thread. Sounds neat. It seems like the hits for numbers kind of change but being here is always good keep up with what's new. I know whenever you see CI's (Amazon penny hits) being talked about, you want to get in on those...trying to think of others that are fast. Um, actually, you can get in a lot of numbers pretty safely with Hannah Rashkin too.

Return your hit, it won't do any harm. I'm about to cross 1000 pretty soon, still fairly new myself but the fine folks here have been helping out tremendously. Even though the pay is crap, if you come across some penny batches from A9, those are great for getting your numbers up quick if you can stand the grind. Just make sure you pay attention to the instructions carefully. Good luck my man!

I got lucky with a couple batches that got me a few hundred hits in a day. There was some hit that was entering birthdates. Basically, read and enter three numbers per hit. That and the rate dating app pictures were probably half of my 1000. So sometimes it's a matter of keeping an eye out on the low pay stuff for random big easy batches.

My main goal is to avoid rejections right now as I've only done 42 and I already have one! My own fault for deciding to do a document all in German! Doh!
