I have that issue as well. It appears to occur if they disconnect too early, it is built in to prevent self pairing before a wait has occured.

I had one freeze at question 20, it wouldn't submit, timer just ran out but couldn't do anything at all, then it told me that I was inactive, but I sat there hoping that it would just kick in so I could respond.

I have a link to a screen shot I can pm you that shows the glitch I was speaking of. I don't want to post it directly because it has my Turk ID on it, however it shows how I was asking questions and the other person is answering, once answered I should be able to ask again, but the waiting on the other person message remains and none of my interface is active, this particular hit was on question 18.
