He was in Pleiku. I don't remember his exact rank. He was a Spec. They told him that he'd be intercepting radio signals. So naturally, they gave him a gun and dropped him in Vietnam. He received a medal and a letter from George HW Bush when he was a congressman for rescuing some soldiers during an attack.

So I do this Kid's Camp thing for work, and I found a kids campfire song playlist. Great, right? Except I have John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt stuck in my head.
