thinking about booking a flight to see a band that i like in a different state. thinking of just being there a day.

wont be able to explore the surroundings much, but would just be going for the music.

if you’re going to a state you’ve never been to before - would you feel like it’s a little waste not to explore it for a few days or would a day sometimes be enough?
If I'm traveling anywhere out of state, whether I've been there or not, I don't consider a single day to be near enough time. Traveling can be such a great way to break up the monotony of daily life, why not take advantage of it? Even if you only give yourself one extra day, use it to go eat at a restaurant, or hang out at a park, or a museum or something. See a sight or two. That is if you can afford it, anyway. I just think that if you go out to someplace just to see a show, and immediately come back, it will all be over so fast that it might be difficult to really savor the moment. Traveling can be really stressful if you don't allow yourself time to just enjoy your surroundings.

What state are you considering?

Open task manager and find "Explorer" and right click on it and click "restart".

i agree on your points. you have swayed me to at least stay an extra day or two longer

and denver, colorado if i go. they’re having a music festival july 27–29. i hadn’t heard of it until today, but Deerhunter is playing and they’re up there with one of my favorite bands. i’ve been to shows solo before numerous times in Houston, but i’ve never flown somewhere solo

I loved Ozark. I was proud of Jason Bateman.
I really enjoyed that one, and I like him anyhow. I went years without knowing how funny he was. Then everything he did was funny, so this was a nice departure from that for him. Bloodline is a slow burn, kind of like The Affair if you have watched that, only better IMO. Others to try if you enjoy psychological thrillers are:

Mad Dogs -Amazon
The Missing- Starz and BBC1
The Fall- Think this is on Netflix, one of my faves
Dark- Netflix
Glitch
