I think the only time we care about the recall portion being effed with is when people copy paste. I've never seen anyone report something cause someone saaid they spoke it instead of typing it.

No, no, no. I don't think it's a problem here. I was just sayin that I've had turkers try to argue that it messes with a study to not type it because talking is less engaging. I was just saying that I've seen researchers trying to prove the same and so far, no result one way or the other so, I didn't want to try and argue when the inevitable question came, "But it says 'type' and you aren't following instructions. How can you justify promoting that?"

That's why I mentioned, that's all.

EDIT I was talking from a researcher's perspective. I don't care what "mods" think. jk

Get a speech to text extension.
I use Voice Note II for Chrome. I never used to nope out of "writing" surveys because, once you get past the fact that you have to write, there's a lot of money that gets left on the table. But, once I got Voice Note, I don't even give them a second thought. I just say what I'm supposed to be writing and the researchers actually get a more full answer because I don't try to get it over with at the minimum amount of sentences.
