Of course they can't reject you twice. But they can block you.....and further more they can block you even if you didn't do ANY work for them. All a requester needs is your Mturk ID. I've heard of people getting blocks simply because the requester didn't like an email. Or the famous Oscar Smith and his blocks for returning HITs. And we won't go into what Google has pulled in the past. .....tread with care around requesters. They're like snakes--they can bite.Contact them nicely and ask why/ tell them you did quality work and are confused. Then, of course, rate them on TO.
The last time I had a rejection, I contacted them and they were like "Sorry, you read too fast, so you obviously didn't pay attention." but after I rated them on TO they contacted me again to say they were reversing the rejection. I don't know if the two were related, but it never hurts to rate/relay your experience to help others. Plus it's not like they can reject you twice for asking for clarification.
