Ones in good shape with new parts go for like $250.
So it's far out of my price range....for an 8-track player at least.
damn, would have been good to know back then the price they would fetch today, would have bought 100 of them lol

You tell 'em to play Freebird anyway. If they're cool enough, they'll have a second band drop down on a flaming stage, all with triple-necked guitars. And there'd be like 14 people playing it. People's ears would start bleeding as their feet floated 4 inches from the ground, like some sort of 'hard rock levitation'. Cow's milk would turn to Budweiser and every pregnant woman in a 3 mile radius would give birth simultaneously.

The start of the Metalacolypse. :D

Anytime I try to search HITS my filter keeps going back to checking the "Hits I'm qualified for" box. I thought this might be due to my hitfinder settings, however I have checked 3 or 4 times and it is not checked in there. Anyone else have any idea where I might look to see if something else might be causing this? I'm at a loss other than looking in HF.
Oh. My. Gawd.

That's amazing!
That is really cool. I have my grandmothers old Curtis Mathis Bookshelf with the built in 8 track and turntable. I wish the 8 tracks themselves held up as well though. But if you want to hear some Bee Gees, Beatles, or Fever Tree....I got you covered.

Even though I don't really care for metal anymore, seeing them on their North American tour was easily the best concert I've ever been to. Rammstein puts on spectacle.
Hands down, out of all the concerts I've been to, Rammstein was the best. Alice Cooper, also a showman, was a solid second.

That sucks. I wonder if you missed the attention check word.
I probably did but it shouldn't reject you from everything. Like what if you forget the word as you read all that text? It took 40 min to do that HIT :(

You may be able to get partial credit, for your time, or something. But, they can't approve you and not pay you the whole thing. They make the words pretty hard to forget, if there is a specific word, usually. That's kind of their justification, "If you can't remember the word(s) you weren't paying enough attention."

It sucks though.:(
