I got a laugh from that. I suspect some workers have thought of different ways of improving or customizing scraping, and just keep those scripts to themselves. A decent JS/jquery programmer can make all kinds of clever scripts, but that doesn't overcome the number of competing working trying to grab those HITs or speed limits querying the site (without risking an account ban). Even I could write a script like the one described in that link. It's not magic.

i've been having to run qualtrics surveys through IE this morning. Not sure whether Qualtrics updated its backend or Chrome pushed an update that is causing issues.

I just completed this survey. The same thing happened to me...

However, for future reference, if you ever click on a link within a HIT and it only takes you to a blank page, then simply select & copy the link itself, and next paste it into the address bar of a new browser tab or browser window.

This sort of thing happens somewhat frequently on MTurk.

It used to be that when times were slow there would actually be more posts because people were bored.

Lately I've been seeing this more and more and I have not in fact done it at all.
