I really hope those questions at the end of the Sam Hirshman hit had a purpose, and weren't just trying to detect bots. I spent like 10 minutes trying to find the correct answers. If that's the case then that shit is going way overboard and unnecessary. gahhhhhh

I don't doubt it exists or has existed. I just mean...I've seen it reiterated time and time again that having a script to auto grab work is against the TOS. Which would mean any person using it is breaking the rules + potentially causing massive problems for everyone?

Nah, I have no interest. I am just appalled because it's supposed to be against TOS (to my understanding) and every single time people do shit against TOS I see us lose requesters and therefore work. It screws everyone over. Especially since requesters watch reddit (apparently) and are currently (and understandably) PO'd about bots doing surveys. When people game the system, everyone loses.

If it was going to be a problem it would have been one years ago. Been aware of various ones for a long time.
Now of course Amazon could just say fuck it and nuke everyone using one at any time.

A much bigger worry for us is Wired Magazine and their sensationalizing Russian survey bots.
