I live part of my life in Albania and when there one of the things I absolutely love is that the kids play everywhere. Construction zones, the middle of the street, whatever. I like hearing the yelling parent telling their kids to get out of the road rather than what I hear now, here, ...nothing.

I do not want to hear the children yelling (we have a few in our complex and they're good kids but dang when they come home from school they all make a racket)

I know a phrase in Albanian but I don't know how to spell it!

Phonetically: Meeku imir, nehet (nijet?) n'deep du vshteer? Been holding onto that for years. Every time I meet anyone who speaks that language I throw it at them.

I can say it okay, and usually get a chuckle? But it's supposed to be "A friend in need is a friend indeed" I had an Albanian boss I used to say it to all the time when I was a teenager, but I learned it from an Encyclopedia Britannica CD Rom when I was a kid. "Hello" also but again no clue how to spell it.

I didn't understand why people were upset with ReCaptcha because all I had to do was click "I'm not a robot" one time when I saw it.
But yesterday and today it's "select all the fire hydrants". TRY AGAIN. "Select all the buses". WRONG. Damn it, I'm not wrong, you're wrong, robot!

I always wonder if those are made by us in one of these 'trace around the such and such' hits or the 'is this a ____' hits. I wonder if it's those damn blurry pictures that you look at a line on a blurry thing and you're like 'maybe it's a telephone pole?, I'll get penalized or maybe blocked if I get flagged too many times.... eh, sure, it's a telephone pole."
