just looked it up damn an mmo marketted towards 8-18 year olds that's just asking for trouble. gotta groom em early for a lifetime of WoW and not going outside i suppose
I can't believe that's the age it's geared toward. My older two lost interest long ago. Of course, they just asked for COD 3, so....

I know. Crazy. I'm just not that into gaming so I don't know what I want them to play or not. I don't want random strangers having access to my 6yo on the internet, though. He was sitting there and I thought he was just talking to himself. He was dictating what he was typing. And I heard that hot tub thing and was like "what are you doing? Are you talking to someone?!" I'll have to uninstall it if I can't figure out how to turn off chat.
well when i was a kid playing video games we had wholesome violence like unreal tournament, counter strike, and quake... nothing like blowing up heads for an hour. just choose a game that doesn't involve huge time commitment like an mmo. something that you can play for 30min to an hour and then do something else like go play with friends outside is the best for young kids i think

The process seems to be a hassle in a handbasket. Doesn't look like you can remove it completely, only 'whitelist' it or 'blacklist' it.

it all depends... im not sure what your approach is for finding hits
im borderline trying to get hits that pay.. 1st priority.. then batches with known never rejects.. so in the last couple hundred hits ive been taking 1 cents to get to 5000. but ill go up to 99% worst case scenario with new requesters.. the rest are known requesters i trust. my end goal is 5000k, my secondary is high payout

edit: 1 have 3 other browsers with TM watchers and i cycle through them and i have one hit monitor for all the older hits combined running when im bored. but prob is, i dont wanna risk running too many pending and get a whole bunch of rejects ya dig? so im chilling til these clear

I don't know if there's a way to turn off the chat option or not. I need to get my 13 year old on the case. There was an actual hot tub in the scene he was in. I don't even know if scene is what you call it. I have zero interest in that game or minecraft.
I turned off youtube on my daughter's computer. She's 13, so she was frustrated for a full week.
I had to go through netgear - and that's worked great :). It's not blocked on my computer, just hers :).

Totally agree. I limit their screen time. I have a friend who literally lost everything because he was addicted to Everquest back in the day. Wife left him and took the kids, lost his job. We have over 17 acres of woods for them to play and explore in and they do. Today it's storming and I'm trying to work so I was a little more lenient with their time. Luckily, they like the outdoors almost as much as their computers. 6yo has moved onto playing piano. So, better use of time.

One of three Kenta articles done (in between playing with kids, doing OCMP75s, doing random things that pandas grabbed, and housework ... Oh, and facebook arguing with a friend, haha). So that was my day.

just an FYI, you being new and all, and I am not saying you would even consider this, but some requesters keep databases of worker demographics when you do there hits. If you took a hit saying you were a mom and he offered another hit later for men and you took it too, it might end up in a block
Yeah I wouldn't do that. It's unethical especially when it comes to scientific studies.

I'm just gonna shitcan it. There's other things he can play. He's too smart - he figures out passwords and how to reinstall things that I remove. He never forgets a number. He's definitely more tech savvy than me and I'm no slouch.

17 acres damn that would have been handy when i was a kid. i would have to beg my dad to take me out to the desert to ride the dirt bike with him. he wouldn't mind on the weekends but i'm sure it got annoying having me ask every day :p

yeah i love 411 but they take at least a day or two to come back, i feel uncomfortable with hits sitting around for over 24 hrs. although his user interface is pretty badass compared to most for reciept transcription

Why...? They always approve, and it is kind of normal for most sequesters to take 24 hours.. and I think I said this to someone earlier but you can easily do 500-1000 of them every day if you work at it and be at 5k within a week

They spend a good portion of their time hunting for treasures like skulls, fossils/crinoids and antlers (bonus if antlers attached to skull)... and snakes. My god the snakes they bring to show me.
