When my sister was 13 she had a heart attack and died, but was brought back to life 4 minutes later with a defibrillator.

If she were on mturk, she'd be conflicted at the attention check "have you had a fatal heart attack?"

Wow, sorry to hear that your sister went through that! Yikes. And your family, what a terrible scare!

I have always hated that question. "Yes" is a possibility for some people. If I was one of those people, I would answer "yes" then immediately contact the requester and let them know my story and the reasons that question is not a good bot/attention check.

A better one would be "have you ever had your head cut off?" because, at this time in medical science, there is no way to recover from that condition.

Someone at one point said they'd had a similar experience and the requester rejected the hit anyway (even after explanation) This was a long time ago and there's always a fair chance they were making it up.

edit: Because fatal means dead and although the person died, they didn't like... perma die?

I don't know how to word this without feeling like I"m sounding rude. I'm sorry about anyone that has temporarily died.

I mean, it's obviously an attention check, so if you answer it wrong you probably deserve the rejection in any case.
