I don't know exactly when Pink Floyd made their debut, but their 1st album was Piper at the Gates of Dawn. And that was released in 1967. They played in the underground London circuit before that with Syd Barrett.

in early 1966 Gilmour introduced a keyboardist/bongo player to the other band members
his name was Biff Dicledime
and he was playing with the band up until 1967 but was never onstage with the other members
due to his uncontrollable gyrating movement while playing the bongos

My first reaction to that video was "it was at this moment that Lars began to lose his hair"

I saw Roger Waters perform Dark Side of the Moon in 2008. I saw Pink Floyd on 1994. They didn't perform all of Dark Side of the Moon, but I'll take it.
