I remember when I became a teen my mom said to me "We can either do this the easy way or we can do it the hard way. The choice is yours." And I also remember being 13 and thinking in my head "We're doing this the hard way!" (because teens can be assholes) I'd like to go back and slap my stupid face from about the time of 13-18.

I think I missed out on being a teen. I don't remember it being difficult at all. But then I was working in my parent's working men's club from about 13 and you can only spend a certain amount of time looking at drunk people doing stupid shit before you decide alcohol is a mug's game. Also, I was well known in town as being my dad's daughter and how old I was. As far as underage drinking (the only pastime for the youths in our crumby town) I was a disaster magnet. And hanging around on street corners (the other pastime, for those who couldn't get into the pubs and clubs) was just boring.

Just happened to me. Definitely broken. Hopefully we hear something back soon.

She just got back to me:

It seems there is an error with the study. I am
looking into it now, and will get back to you ASAP. I will
make sure that everyone who gave accurate work will be
compensated for their time, even if they were booted from
the study in error. Please be patient as we figure out what
went wrong and address this issue. I will contact you again
within the next 24 hours with an update, and hopefully, a
resolution.

My dad "fixed" his roof with Flex Seal. It's a decent band-aid for the time being.
