I have a lovely shawl that I knit a few years ago in dk weight and it works as a scarf, shawl. This is just so bulky - I think it would be heavy to wear 'everyday'. I looked at some hats, but it seemed too big? IDK. It's a fun yarn and SO pretty.Ok that yarn looks *scrumptious*. I'm not sure what you mean by "real" shawl...real meaning laceweight? Or real w/ this yarn?
With three colors (assuming they coordinate), you could do a striped crescent sharf, like, CO 5, increase at each end on RS (k1m1/m1k1 probably least intrusive), alternate colors every other row. By the time you run out of yarn it should be scarf length with an interesting shape and obvs the visual pow from the stripes. Or you might not like this idea at all
