My girl just left to go hang out with her friends after she got a pot out of the cabinet and put it on her head.

Girl, the point isn't the be what you already are, it's to dress up as something you're not.

Talking about how old should a kid be when trick or treating stops, and that some older kids are still kind of young at heart, I'm unsure if this means my kid is still young, or just fricking awesome and will retain this as he gets older.

Scene: Dropping him off outside of high school.

Action: He closes the door and then turns back and says something through the window. I don't quite catch it, so I roll the window down.

Dialogue: He says, "Just wanted to say one more time that I love you, Mom." Said loudly, didn't give a rat's ass if any other kids nearby heard or not.

Hopefully he's the type who feels that you're never "too old" to tell your mom you love her.

I was going to make a joke about how her costume is appropriating my culture, but wait... are you calling her a pothead?

This is probably a question for Kadauchi @Kadauchi, but I hate to bother him because he's busy enough, but this morning I started a Prolific survey that I returned because I did it yesterday on mTurk. So is there a way to have a script or something that would help screen out that problem so the requesters don't get our info twice even though we don't mean to do that? Thanks.

Not really. The only real way would be if the survey links were the same, but then the browser should just mark that as visited. Everything else would be far to much work for such little gain. Your memory will work better than a script would for something like this.

Which brings me to a question I've wanted terribly to ask some people; how about you guys?

So my math prof has been emailing us all week about how we can take this week's math test "before or after we go trick-or-treating." It seemed like oddly specific wording, but I didn't think much of it (only to find out yesterday that unlike every other test she's assigned, this one CAN ONLY be taken today. But that's another post that I don't have time to make right now, and no one wants to hear anyway)

My question is: while obviously I in my late thirties with no children am not going to be trick or treating, in what possible decade are traditionally college-aged people going to be doing it? Has that ever been a thing?
(I mean, maybe it's a thing in the tiny cow town my college is actually in, which makes me extra glad that I didn't move there because if it's that weird about Halloween, who knows what else it's weird about in strange and offputting ways.)

It just seems really, really obvious to me that trick or treating is a thing you either do as a child or with children, and not otherwise. If other people have different points of view I'd be interested to hear about them.
Possibly during the Roaring 20's among a certain set?

What is a Turkey Pile Script?
It's a that shows where you are on a list of other people using the script. I just searched on Greasyfork to find it but couldn't, I think maybe it was on a reddit thread?

I only have it b/c someone on here linked it a while ago. katarina @katarina do you have the link for it?

Are we allowed to do the Heather Honea - Evaluate a Crowdfunding Campaign more than once? Yesterday I did it for 3$. Today it's up for 2.90. Maybe if I choose a different campaign to evaluate? Yesterday's is still pending...
