I've lived in Arkansas all my life.
I love it here. Can get pretty cold winters, but the weather will always get warm within a week lol.
Earlier this week it was freezing and today high is 70 with storms.

It was 25 yesterday morning when I got home from work, this morning it's nearly 50 and there were thunderstorms a few hours ago. Kentucky weather can change that easily in a day.

It's actually been really windy the past few days, but nah.
The cats are loving this wind though. They sit in the windows acting like they're on drugs watching the leaves go crazy.

I grew up in NH but I couldn't handle the cold, so I ran to FL...and now I pay for it every other winter because it still gets cold xD

I live in coastal Georgia and this cold spell was really surprising and unusual for us, normal low temps are upper 40's and we got down in the teens with windchill several nights. The problem is that we experience a homeless migration in late fall (as they head to warmer climes) so many got caught in the freezing weather with little more than a blanket. And there's supposedly another freezing cold snap coming next week.

Only a half day at work today, because I am working a half in the parade tomorrow. I don't love watching parades but working parades is fun. I'll either walk and give out candy or I'll be in our community center handing out free hot coco, apple cider and popcorn.

This afternoon I will do a good session with my horse since it's dry and not frigid. It's also a double header "dance party" this weekend - aka our DJ is playing both nights and no bands this weekend. So...I will be physically broken by Sunday at 2am, no worries.
