Yep, knitting loom. He actually takes the loom with him when he sells as almost everyone wants to see how he makes them. He works on a scarf while selling.

I got him the loom to start then showed him the basic stitch (knit, purl, knit, purl) then he went on YouTube and found more stitches (like knit, knit, purl, purl to make a more "ribbed" scarf).

I do take them off the loom. That requires a crochet hook and he sucks with crochet hooks. If you drop it taking it off of the loom you can drop it so badly that the whole scarf has to be unraveled and redone. So I just do that part for him, lol. I drop a loop often, but I can recover it easily. Only once have I messed that up so badly he had to redo the whole scarf.
